On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, the Algerian National People’s Army announced its operational results for February 2025. The report highlighted the elimination of one terrorist, the arrest of 37 individuals providing support to terrorist groups, and the surrender of four terrorists to military authorities. Additionally, significant quantities of weapons were seized, including 26 firearms, with a total of 47 firearms recovered during various operations.
In parallel efforts, the army intercepted 225 drug traffickers and confiscated large quantities of narcotics, including 32 quintals and 19 kilograms of processed cannabis, 78.83 kilograms of cocaine, and over 2.6 million psychotropic pills.
The report also detailed achievements in combating smuggling and illegal gold prospecting, with the arrest of 1,507 individuals, the seizure of over 169,282 liters of fuel, 36 metal detection devices, 719 hydraulic hammers, and 1,077 electric generators, along with the recovery of 109 vehicles of various types.
Furthermore, the army stopped 1,804 illegal migrants of various nationalities during the same period.
