Algiers – The Minister of State, Minister for Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call today, Thursday, from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Safadi, according to a statement from the ministry.
During this call, the two ministers discussed, as per the statement, “the developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip amid the renewed Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.”
They also expressed, according to the same statement, their “deep concern about the collapse of efforts aimed at establishing a ceasefire and meeting the urgent needs of the Palestinian people for humanitarian relief and reconstruction, which undermines prospects for reaching a permanent and just resolution to the Palestinian issue.”
The two ministers agreed to enhance communication and coordination regarding the Palestinian cause and other shared issues, within the framework of common organizations, primarily the Arab League, as stated in the statement.
