On Monday, in Algiers, a cooperation project was signed between the Ministry of Justice and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) aimed at supporting the career development of female judges in its second phase, spanning 2025 to 2029, according to a ministry statement.
The statement explained that this signing “implements the cooperation project between the Ministry of Justice and UNDP on supporting the career development of female judges, with the first phase signed on November 13, 2023. It reflects the ministry’s commitment to promoting structural changes to enhance the professional path of female judges and address individual challenges they face.”
The signing ceremony was attended by “the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Justice, Mohamed Reqqaz; the UNDP Resident Representative in Algeria, Natasha van Rijn; and a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs,” the statement noted.
