On the occasion of National Army Day, Algeria commemorates the profound connection between its people and the National People’s Army, as decreed by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. This symbolic day honors the military’s pivotal role in nation-building and safeguarding sovereignty. The celebration reflects the people’s pride in their army, notably witnessed during the grand parade marking the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Revolution. President Tebboune emphasized that the army’s doctrine is strictly defensive, aimed solely at protecting Algeria and supporting peace globally. With continued modernization and strategic development, the Algerian army has become a pillar of operational excellence, contributing not only to national security but also to economic development through self-sufficiency and industrial growth. This day also serves as a tribute to the martyrs of the revolution, victims of terrorism, and all servicemen devoted to the nation.
