Algiers is primed to host the continent’s premier trade gathering, with the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025) confirming its full programme and speaker lineup for 4–10 September. Organizers project more than 35,000 delegates, 2,000 exhibitors from about 140 countries, and up to $44 billion in trade and investment deals—positioning Algeria as a pivotal gateway for AfCFTA-driven commerce.
The opening Presidential Summit will feature Algeria’s President Abdelmadjid Tebboune alongside leading African and Caribbean figures, with sessions spanning investment, industrialization, the creative economy, and an Algeria Investment Forum that showcases the host nation’s potential.
Algeria’s institutions marked the day with visible momentum as ministries welcomed arriving delegations, describing this year’s edition as the most ambitious to date—signaling strong national readiness to deliver a seamless, high-impact event. Complementing the fair’s finance-and-investment focus, the Energy and Mines Ministry also held discussions with international partners, underlining the broader regional deal-making climate.
