National People’s Assembly Condemns Zionist Aggression on Qatar and Calls for Urgent International Action

Algiers – On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, the National People’s Assembly strongly condemned the brutal Zionist aggression against the brotherly state of Qatar that occurred on Tuesday, urging urgent international action to halt these violations that threaten the region’s security and stability, according to a statement reported by aps.dz.

The statement emphasized that this barbaric aggression constitutes “a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, representing a direct threat to regional and international peace and security, and exposing the aggressive nature of the Zionist entity, which continues its violations without deterrence or accountability in a manner that surpasses all descriptions of brutality and savagery.”

The National People’s Assembly affirmed “its full and absolute solidarity with the brotherly Qatari people” and called on the international community and the UN Security Council to “assume their legal, moral, and humanitarian responsibilities to put an end to these violations and this blatant aggression and threat to regional stability and security, and to impose strict sanctions on the Zionist entity and hold it accountable for its heinous crimes,” according to the same source.

In this context, the Assembly stressed “the necessity of unifying the Arab and Islamic ranks to confront Zionist aggression, support the legitimate rights of Arab and Islamic peoples and nations to protect their sovereignty and security, and stand firmly with the Palestinian people in their steadfastness in defending their legitimate rights to life and the establishment of their independent state.”
