President Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed that the ongoing review of Algeria’s electoral law is limited strictly to technical aspects, stressing that the core of political reforms will continue to rest on transparency and the moralization of public life.
He underlined that the National People’s Assembly has the right to propose laws, provided they do not conflict with the principles of national sovereignty and the republican order, adding that such proposals are subject to a democratic vote.
