Algiers – Civil Protection authorities successfully extinguished a massive fire that broke out in the administrative wing of a public institution in Algiers Province.
According to the Civil Protection Department, its teams managed to fully contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to other parts of the building. The operation involved 12 fire trucks, 4 mechanical ladders, and 2 ambulances.
The emergency units were called into action at 5:54 a.m. after the fire erupted in the administrative section of a company composed of three stories (ground floor plus two), located in the Mohammadia municipality, in the Dar El Beïda district of Algiers.
Authorities confirmed that the situation was brought under control with no reported casualties, thanks to the rapid intervention and coordination of the fire brigades.
