Constantine to Launch ‘Blue November 2025’ Prostate Cancer Awareness Campaign

Constantine, Algeria – A comprehensive awareness campaign focused on the early detection of prostate cancer, dubbed ‘Blue November 2025’, is set to launch next week in Constantine. The initiative will be based at the specialized nephrology and urology hospital in the Daksi Abdeslam district.

The campaign, part of the broader ‘Blue November’ activities dedicated to men’s health, aims to promote early screening and awareness about prostate cancer, a significant health concern for men. Dr. Ayman Ben Messaoud, the media officer for the Kidney and Urology Surgeons Club, the organizing body behind the initiative, announced the launch on Sunday.

‘Blue November 2025’ will offer free screenings and educational resources to men in the Constantine region. Healthcare professionals will be available to provide information about risk factors, symptoms, and the importance of early detection. The campaign will also highlight advancements in prostate cancer treatment and management.

“Early detection is crucial in the fight against prostate cancer,” stated Dr. Ben Messaoud. “This campaign is designed to encourage men to take proactive steps towards their health and to seek timely medical attention if needed.”

The Kidney and Urology Surgeons Club hopes that ‘Blue November 2025’ will significantly increase awareness and encourage more men to get screened, ultimately leading to earlier diagnoses and improved treatment outcomes. The campaign underscores the importance of preventative healthcare and the role of community-based initiatives in addressing public health challenges.
