Ooredoo Algeria Announces Partnership with MC Oran Football Club

Algiers, Algeria – Ooredoo Algeria has officially partnered with Mouloudia Club d’Oran (MC Oran), a prominent football club, in a ceremony held at Ooredoo’s headquarters in Algiers today. The agreement marks a significant step in Ooredoo’s commitment to supporting national sports and strengthening its presence in the Algerian sports arena.

The partnership agreement was signed by Mr. Roni Tohme, Director General of Ooredoo Algeria, and Mr. Mohamed Hadjadj, Chairman of the Board of MC Oran. Under the terms of the agreement, Ooredoo will become the official sponsor of the Oran-based club.

Mr. Tohme expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are delighted to accompany MC Oran, a prestigious club with a constant ambition for excellence, embodying strong values of high performance, passion, and perseverance – values that we strongly believe in and share.”

Mr. Hadjadj also commented on the partnership, saying, “It is a source of pride and honor to have a strong and reputable partner like Ooredoo join us. This agreement will strengthen the club’s foundations at both the structural and sporting levels. Together, MC Oran and Ooredoo will work with determination and perseverance to promote this club and its rich history, and to proudly raise its banner and colors to the highest levels, both nationally and continentally.”

This initiative aligns with Ooredoo’s ongoing strategy in sports sponsorship, launched several years ago, which aims to support the development of sports in Algeria and encourage young talents to excel in various disciplines.
