Algiers, November 8, 2025 – The President of the National Syndicate of Judges, Aidi Aoudache, officially tendered his resignation today. The resignation was formalized during an extraordinary session of the Syndicate’s Executive Bureau, in accordance with Article 57 of the Syndicate’s bylaws.
A statement released by the Syndicate confirmed that members of the Executive Bureau received Aoudache’s resignation request. Consequently, the Bureau decided to accept the resignation. The resignation will be presented for ratification at an extraordinary General Assembly, the date of which will be determined later, as stipulated by Article 34 of the aforementioned bylaws.
According to the statement, the First Vice-President of the Syndicate, Hichem Desdous, will temporarily manage the affairs of the Syndicate until the extraordinary General Assembly convenes.
Preparations for the convening of the extraordinary General Assembly will commence immediately.
It is worth noting that Aoudache announced his intention to withdraw from the Syndicate yesterday, proposing that the official resignation be formalized before an extraordinary General Assembly scheduled for the end of this month. Today’s decision marks the immediate formalization of his resignation. No further details were provided.
