In a significant move to bolster the healthcare sector with skilled paramedical professionals, particularly in the critical areas of medical and surgical emergencies, the Ministry of Health conducted the national entrance examination for paramedical training in the rank of Public Health Nursing Assistants on Saturday. The examination, based on aptitude tests, is for the academic year 2025, according to a ministry statement.

The statement clarified that the competition is open to candidates holding a third-year secondary education level across various disciplines. This initiative aims to provide them with specialized training in medical and surgical emergencies, a field deemed crucial for ensuring optimal patient care and enhancing the quality of health services across the nation’s provinces.

The ministry revealed a record-breaking participation exceeding 266,000 candidates nationwide. A total of 3,000 pedagogical seats are allocated across different provinces based on their specific human resource needs. This significant investment in training underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening the healthcare workforce.

“This initiative aligns with the ministry’s ongoing efforts to create new job opportunities and reduce unemployment by providing qualified training that offers young people promising career prospects in the dynamic public health sector,” stated a ministry spokesperson.

The Ministry of Health emphasizes the continuous evolution of the public health sector, presenting numerous opportunities for employment and professional development. This nationwide examination and subsequent training program represent a substantial step toward meeting the growing demands for qualified paramedical staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to all citizens.
