Petkovic Unveils Algeria’s Squad for November Training Camp

National team coach Vladimir Petkovic today announced the Algerian national team squad for the November training camp. This camp is a crucial part of preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) 2026.

The announcement was made during a press conference held by Petkovic at the “Mohamed Salah” conference hall in the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki. The squad comprises 27 players selected for the camp scheduled to take place throughout the month.

During this training period, the Fennecs are scheduled to play two friendly matches in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The first match will be against Zimbabwe on November 13th, followed by a game against Saudi Arabia on November 18th. These matches are part of Petkovic’s ongoing program aimed at achieving optimal readiness before the continental competition.

The squad list includes the following players: Benbot, Kandouz, Zidane, Belghali, Ait Nouri, Dorval, Hadjam, Belaid, Ben Guitoun, Bensebaini, Cherki, Mandi, Tougai, Bennacer, Titraoui, Zerrouki, Zorgane, Amoura, Aouar, Boudaoui, Chaibi, Kabbal, Mahrez, Maza, Haj Moussa, Bekrar, and Bounedjah.

Petkovic hopes that this training camp will allow him to assess the readiness of the national team players and strengthen the harmony between experienced and new players. The ultimate goal is to be fully prepared for the upcoming challenges facing the national team.
