Officials Unveil New Investment Facilities for Algerian Diaspora in Saudi Arabia

Algerian officials recently engaged with the Algerian community in Saudi Arabia during a remote video conference, an event hosted by the Algerian Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate General of Algeria in Jeddah. The meeting, part of a regular series, saw the participation of Soufiane Chaib, Secretary of State for the National Community Abroad, and Noureddine Ouaddah, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-enterprises.

The primary purpose of the gathering was to introduce new state-approved facilities and incentive mechanisms designed to support the developmental role of Algerians residing abroad. These initiatives specifically aim to harness their expertise and skills across various fields related to innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic missions underscore the crucial importance of caring for the diaspora, strengthening their connection to the homeland, and fostering an optimal environment for expatriate project holders and economic operators.

Minister Ouaddah extended an invitation to project holders and businesspeople within the Algerian community in Saudi Arabia, encouraging them to capitalize on the promising opportunities available in Algeria’s renewed business climate. He emphasized their active contribution to the nation's economic dynamism. Following presentations on the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurship in Algeria, community members expressed their strong interest and readiness to participate effectively in the ongoing national development process.
