Algeria Remains Strong, Secure Thanks to Loyal Patriots

In its November 2025 edition, the Algerian Army magazine dedicated its editorial to commemorating the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the November 1st, 1954 Revolution. The editorial emphasizes that Algeria’s history is rich with pivotal moments that forged the nation’s glory and solidified its future, most notably the glorious Liberation Revolution, which it hails as an “immortal epic written by the Algerian people in letters of gold.”

The editorial highlights the Liberation Revolution as one of the greatest liberation movements in the world, owing to the sacrifices of patriotic men who gave their all to regain freedom and sovereignty. It notes that their heroic deeds will remain etched in the national memory, and that the values of unity and cohesion that Algerians demonstrated at that time are the same ones that unite them today in facing current challenges.

The magazine also touched upon the national reforestation campaign that began on October 25th, considering it “a powerful message to the world that Algerians are one body and one heart.” It emphasized that this collective awareness forms a fundamental basis for building a strong and secure Algeria, especially in light of regional tensions and conspiracies targeting the country’s stability.

The editorial conveyed statements by the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who stressed that loyalty to the sacrifices of the revolution’s martyrs represents “the compass that guides Algeria in this delicate stage towards consolidating the pillars of the rising national state and igniting the collective national spirit.”

It also addressed the pivotal role played by the Algerian people and its People’s National Army in achieving the country’s victories over the decades, affirming that the unity of the people and its army remains “the sure guarantee for maintaining the nation’s security and stability.” It conveyed the affirmation of the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, Lieutenant General Said Chengriha, on the army’s commitment to strengthening its trust with the people, considering it “an immunity and prestige that protects Algeria from dangers and threats.”

The editorial recalled that regaining national sovereignty came at the cost of millions of martyrs, and that Algeria was able to eradicate terrorism thanks to new sacrifices made by martyrs of national duty, concluding by affirming that Algeria will remain strong thanks to its sons stationed along the borders, who continue to develop the capabilities of the People’s National Army, faithful to the trust of the martyrs.

The Algerian Army magazine’s editorial concluded with the phrase: “Long live Algeria, free and independent. Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs!”
