Belarusian President Congratulates Algeria on Revolution Anniversary

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of Algeria has received a congratulatory message from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on the occasion of the anniversary of the Algerian Revolution.

According to a statement released by the Algerian Presidency, President Lukashenko’s message conveyed warm wishes to President Tebboune and the Algerian people. The message highlighted the historical significance of the revolution as a turning point in Algeria’s struggle for independence and self-determination.

The message stated: “It gives me great pleasure to extend to you, and to the brotherly Algerian people, my warmest congratulations on the occasion of the Revolution Day. This day marked a decisive historical turning point in Algeria’s glorious journey, from which the heroic epic of its people began, towards independence and the attainment of their legitimate right to self-determination.”

President Lukashenko emphasized the increasing importance of strengthening coordination between nations that share a commitment to genuine partnership, based on mutual respect, equality, and non-interference in internal affairs, especially in the face of global transformations.

He further noted that Belarus and Algeria exemplify this model through their active cooperation on the international stage and their steadfast support for the principles of national sovereignty, rejecting policies of pressure and sanctions.

President Lukashenko concluded his message by wishing President Tebboune good health and success in his endeavors to achieve his goals, and extended wishes for lasting peace, prosperity, and happiness to the Algerian people. The anniversary is a key moment for Algeria.
