Sioud Advances to 200m Breaststroke Final at Islamic Solidarity Games

Algerian swimmer Jawad Syoud has secured his place in the final of the men’s 200m breaststroke at the ongoing Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh. Syoud’s qualification marks another significant achievement for the Algerian team at the Games.

In addition to Syoud’s success, the duo of Donia Chaar and Melissa Touhami have also qualified for the final of the women’s 200m breaststroke. Their advancement promises an exciting competition as they vie for medals in their respective category.

However, not all Algerian swimmers experienced the same success. Abdellraouf Hafiane was unable to qualify for the final of the men’s 200m breaststroke. Despite his efforts, he did not meet the qualifying standard.

Jawad Syoud has already made a significant impact at the Games, having secured two medals prior to this latest achievement. He clinched the gold medal in the men’s 400m individual medley with a time of 4:23.36. He also won the silver medal in the men’s 200m individual medley last Sunday.

DZWatch will continue to provide updates on the Algerian team’s performance at the Islamic Solidarity Games. Stay tuned for further news and analysis.
