Algeria and Egypt Explore Enhanced Economic and Investment Ties

Algiers – The Director-General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), Omar Rekkache, recently met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Algeria, Abdel Latif Abdel Salam Abdo Allayeh, to discuss avenues for strengthening economic cooperation and developing investment partnerships between the two nations.

During the meeting, held at the AAPI headquarters in Algiers and attended by senior officials, both sides explored the prospects of organizing joint business forums and economic conferences. The aim is to promote partnerships between Algerian and Egyptian companies across various sectors.

Both parties emphasized the significant potential that Algeria and Egypt possess in the fields of investment and production. They highlighted the promising opportunities available to deepen bilateral economic cooperation. The discussions underscored a mutual desire to capitalize on these strengths for mutual benefit.

The Egyptian Ambassador expressed growing interest from Egyptian companies in investing in Algeria.
