Algiers, Algeria – The operating hours for the Algiers tramway have been updated, effective today, according to SETRAM, the company responsible for operating and maintaining the tramway lines in the capital.
SETRAM announced the revised schedule via its official channels, detailing the first and last departures from key stations along the tramway network.
From El Annasser station, the first tram will depart at 5:30 AM, with the last tram leaving at 10:20 PM. For those traveling from Dergana, the first tram will also depart at 5:30 AM, while the last tram will depart slightly earlier, at 10:00 PM. Service from Hai El Mandarine station will commence with the first tram departing at 5:30 AM.
Passengers can expect a waiting time of approximately 4 to 8 minutes between trams.
This adjustment in operating hours aims to better serve the needs of Algiers residents and commuters who rely on the tramway as a primary mode of transportation within the city. SETRAM encourages passengers to take note of the new schedule to ensure seamless travel planning. The company has not yet detailed the reasons for this change.
