Algerian Entrepreneur Leads Five Major Theme Parks in France

In a remarkable story of perseverance and success, an Algerian native is now at the helm of five major theme parks in France. Kamal Ben Fouzari, who emigrated from Algeria at the young age of eleven, manages the ‘Cap Nature’ chain, a brand synonymous with adventure and outdoor activities.

Ben Fouzari’s journey began with significant challenges. Arriving in France with only a basic grasp of the French language, he credits a fifth-grade teacher with igniting his passion for learning. This pivotal moment set him on a path of academic and professional achievement.

After earning a degree in mechanical engineering, Ben Fouzari chose community service over university. He dedicated nine years to working with underprivileged youth in Lille, where he honed his leadership skills and developed a deep understanding of social responsibility. This experience shaped his future business philosophy.

A visit to the Lot region in southwestern France sparked Ben Fouzari’s entrepreneurial spirit. Captivated by the area’s natural beauty, he decided to revive an abandoned adventure park in Braden. ‘We started from scratch, demolishing everything and rebuilding with a new spirit,’ he stated.

Respect for nature is central to Ben Fouzari’s management approach. ‘We must adapt to the forest, not make it adapt to us,’ he emphasizes.

Ben Fouzari continues to innovate, incorporating virtual reality and laser games to expand Cap Nature’s offerings and ensure year-round appeal. Despite his demanding schedule, he is now prioritizing family time after years of dedicated work. His story is an inspiring example of how determination and a commitment to community can lead to extraordinary accomplishments.
