Israeli Forces Detain Palestinian Child, Raids Continue in West Bank

Israeli forces detained a Palestinian child near Bethlehem in the West Bank on Tuesday, according to reports from the area. The 17-year-old, identified as Ahmad Mustafa Hamamra, was taken from his home in the village of Hussan, west of Bethlehem. Local sources stated that Israeli soldiers raided and searched the family’s home before detaining the teenager.

In a separate incident, Israeli military vehicles entered the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, early this morning. Troops patrolled the streets and deployed sound grenades and tear gas. No injuries or arrests were immediately reported following the incursion.

Furthermore, Israeli authorities issued a demolition order for a house in the town of Aqaba, located north of Tubas, late last night.

These events are part of a broader pattern of near-daily raids and incursions carried out by Israeli forces throughout the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem. These operations often lead to clashes, arrests, and the use of live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, and tear gas against Palestinian youth.
