Berlin, Germany – Sonatrach’s CEO, Noureddine Daoudi, led a delegation of senior executives to Berlin on Wednesday for a key meeting focused on the advancement of collaborative projects with European partners. The discussion centered on the progress of the Algeria-Europe Hydrogen Alliance project and the Southern Hydrogen Corridor initiative.
These ambitious ventures are being jointly undertaken by Sonatrach and Sonelgaz, in partnership with various European entities, with the primary objective of developing green hydrogen production capabilities within Algeria and facilitating its export to European markets. The Algeria-Europe Hydrogen Alliance aims to establish a robust framework for the production and transportation of green hydrogen, leveraging Algeria’s abundant renewable energy resources and strategic geographic location.
