Forest Fire Erupts in Tipaza Province

Tipaza, Algeria – October 14, 2025 – A forest fire broke out late yesterday evening in the province of Tipaza, according to local authorities. Civil Protection services were dispatched to the scene at approximately 10:40 PM local time to combat the blaze.

The fire is located in the area known as the Mokhtari Farm, within the municipality of Merad in the Hadjout district. Efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing.

The Civil Protection agency confirmed that a significant deployment of resources has been allocated to the firefighting operation. This includes nine fire trucks and the mobile forest fire fighting unit from the Tipaza province.
