President Abdelmadjid Tebboune honored retired army officers from the National Liberation Army (ALN) on Saturday at the National Army Club in Beni Messous.

- Retired Colonel Ali Bejaoui
- Retired Colonel Mohamed Mahdi
- Retired Colonel Boualem Azouz
- Retired Major Ahmed Lakhdar Derrard
- Retired Major Mohamed Ali Boughazala
- Retired Major Mohamed Tahar Abdelsalam
- Retired Major Abdelkader Ben Ashour
- Retired Major Omar Mechri
- Retired Major Bachir Taouti

In his speech, President Tebboune praised the retired officers for their sacrifices . He said that they are the “pride of the nation” and that their contributions will never be forgotten.
The president also urged the retired officers to continue to serve the country in their retirement. He said that they have a wealth of experience that can be used to help the younger generations.
The ceremony was attended by a number of high-ranking government officials, including the Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense, and the Chief of Staff of the National Army.
