Attaf Meets UN Envoy for Libya, Discusses Support Mission

Algiers – Ahmed Attaf, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, received Her Excellency Hana Tetteh, Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), at the Ministry headquarters today, Thursday.

According to a statement released by the Ministry, the meeting focused on the ongoing efforts to support stability and peace in Libya. Minister Attaf and Special Representative Tetteh discussed the critical role of the United Nations in facilitating dialogue and reconciliation among Libyan parties.
