ETUSA Refurbishes 30 Buses to Boost Algiers Transport

Algiers, November 13, 2025 – ETUSA, the public urban and suburban transport company for the city of Algiers and its suburbs, has announced the refurbishment and modernization of 30 buses. These buses will be deployed to reinforce transport lines serving the city’s new urban centers.

In a statement released today, ETUSA detailed that the initial deployment of these refurbished buses will primarily focus on transport routes connecting the new city of Sidi Abdellah to several key destinations. These include the University train station, Rahmania, Sidi Benour, Zaataria, the Tessala El Merdja train station, M’Kataa Khira, Ben Aknoun, and Tafourah.

The company emphasized the importance of this initiative in improving public transportation options for residents in these growing urban areas. The refurbished buses are expected to provide a more comfortable and reliable commuting experience.

According to ETUSA, these buses are scheduled to enter service starting this Sunday. The company is committed to providing efficient and accessible transportation services to the residents of Algiers and its surrounding areas.
