Algiers, Algeria – The National Meteorological Office has issued a special weather advisory concerning strong winds expected to impact the central coastal regions of Algeria. The advisory is in effect from this evening until midday Friday.
According to the weather bulletin, the provinces of Chlef, Ain Defla, Blida, Medea, Tipaza, Algiers, and Boumerdes are forecast to experience strong winds with gusts exceeding 80 kilometers per hour. These conditions may cause disruptions to both maritime and land traffic, particularly along coastal roads and in elevated areas.
The meteorological service indicated that the special weather advisory is valid from 9:00 PM today until midday on Friday. Residents in the affected areas are urged to take necessary precautions and stay informed about the latest weather updates.
