Blida, Algeria – General Saïd Chengriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, today inaugurated a series of new medical facilities within the First Military Region. This initiative underscores the High Command’s commitment to strengthening the military’s healthcare infrastructure and enhancing medical services for personnel and their families.
At the Central Army Hospital in Ain Naadja, General Chengriha received a detailed presentation from the Central Director of Military Health Services. The presentation highlighted the newly established facilities, which are part of a broader healthcare project designed to improve hospital performance and elevate the quality of medical care.
The Chief of Staff also presided over the commencement of operations at two newly equipped medical departments. These departments feature state-of-the-art medical equipment, significantly boosting the hospital’s capacity to deliver specialized treatment and comprehensive healthcare services.
Accompanied by the Commander of the First Military Region and the Central Director of Military Health Services in Blida, General Chengriha officially inaugurated the Regional University Military Hospital. He toured the hospital’s various departments, receiving detailed explanations about the medical and surgical services offered. These services are expected to substantially contribute to the enhancement and development of healthcare standards within the People’s National Army.
