Algiers, October 16, 2025 – The Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sid Ali Zerrouki, announced Thursday that the highly anticipated recruitment examination for Algeria Post will now take place before the end of October.
Minister Zerrouki made the announcement while responding to questions from members of the Council of the Nation. He emphasized that the recruitment process for Algeria Post will be comprehensive and designed to ensure a fair and transparent examination based on exceptional standards.
This new date follows several postponements of the examination. The most recent delay occurred in September, after an earlier postponement from May. The May date was marred by technical issues with the dedicated online platform, preventing thousands of potential candidates from completing the application process and taking the exam.
The repeated delays have sparked public frustration. The Ministry has taken steps to address the issues, including the removal of certain officials within the postal sector.
The Algeria Post recruitment examination is crucial for filling numerous vacant positions within the national postal service. The government hopes that the upcoming examination will be conducted smoothly and efficiently, providing qualified individuals with opportunities to contribute to the development of the postal sector.
Further details regarding the exact date and examination procedures are expected to be released by Algeria Post in the coming days. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official Algeria Post website and other official channels for updates.
