Oil prices hovered above $90 a barrel on Tuesday, as investors awaited a series of economic data due later this week that could indicate whether Europe and the United States will continue to raise interest rates.
The price of Brent crude, the global benchmark, rose to $90.72 a barrel by 07:40 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 18 cents to $87.45.
