General Chengriha oversaw the commencement of operations in two specialized medical departments within the Central Army Hospital. These departments have been equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, including a hyperbaric medicine unit offering advanced treatment for high blood pressure using oxygen therapy, and a molecular imaging department featuring a new Positron Emission Tomography (PET) unit. This specialized unit will enable doctors and specialists to accurately diagnose the location and nature of diseases.

These departments, constructed according to international health standards and equipped with cutting-edge technology, are poised to deliver high-quality medical services and improve patient care.

In Blida, General Chengriha, accompanied by the Commander of the First Military Region and the Central Director of Military Health Services, inaugurated the Regional Military University Hospital. He received a comprehensive briefing from the hospital’s Director General, covering its various components, capacity, advanced medical equipment, and the qualified medical and administrative personnel staffing the facility.

The Chief of Staff toured the hospital’s various departments, receiving detailed explanations of the medical and surgical services offered, which are expected to significantly enhance healthcare provision in the region.

During the visit, General Chengriha held a meeting with military health personnel, delivering an address that was broadcast via video conference to military health personnel across all six military regions. In his address, he emphasized that the inauguration of these new healthcare facilities is part of the ongoing celebrations marking the anniversary of the Algerian Revolution and reflects the army’s commitment to the well-being of its personnel.
