Cairo, Egypt – Defender Abdelkader Badran has departed the training camp of the Algerian national team for local players. He will return to his club, Damac FC of Saudi Arabia, to continue his rehabilitation program.
The national team’s medical staff, in consultation with head coach Madjid Bougherra, granted Badran permission to leave the camp due to an injury. The decision prioritizes the player’s full recovery and his availability for his club commitments.
In a related development, Houari Baouche has been called up to the squad to compensate for the absence of Noufel Khassaf, who is also sidelined with an injury. Baouche, a left-back who plays for CS Constantine, joined the national team camp in Cairo on Saturday evening.
Coach Bougherra acted swiftly to address the defensive gaps created by the injuries. Baouche’s inclusion provides needed depth and tactical flexibility to the squad as they prepare for upcoming competitions. The national team continues its preparations in Cairo, focusing on tactical cohesion and player fitness.
DZWatch will continue to provide updates on the national team’s progress and player developments.
