Algeria to Host 13th Algerian-Vietnamese Joint Commission

Algiers, Algeria – Algeria is preparing to host the 13th session of the Algerian-Vietnamese Joint Commission, commencing Sunday and continuing through Thursday, according to a statement released today by the Ministry of Industry.

As part of the preparations, Nguyen Tuong Van, Deputy Minister of Construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, arrived in Algiers this morning. He was received at Houari Boumediene International Airport by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Industry, Khair Eddine Ben Aissa, and his accompanying delegation.

The Ministry stated that this visit underscores the commitment of both nations to strengthen bilateral cooperation across the industrial, construction, and economic sectors. The focus will be on expanding partnership horizons and exploring joint investment opportunities between Algeria and Vietnam, in anticipation of the Joint Commission’s activities.

The upcoming session aims to activate new cooperation projects and enhance coordination between economic stakeholders. This reflects the shared desire to develop the historical ties between the two countries and elevate them to greater heights in the coming period.
