The Algerian national football team, Les Fennecs, commenced preparations Saturday evening for their friendly match against Saudi Arabia, scheduled for Tuesday. The encounter is part of their training camp in Jeddah.
Led by captain Riyad Mahrez, the squad held a training session at one of the auxiliary fields of the King Abdullah Sports City stadium.
National coach Vladimir Petković initiated the session by addressing the players, highlighting key observations from their previous friendly against Zimbabwe. He then outlined the preparation program specifically tailored for the upcoming match against Saudi Arabia.

The Desert Warriors view this second friendly in Jeddah as a crucial test ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.
