Algerian football club Moloudia d'Alger has successfully qualified for the next round of the African Champions League. The team secured its progression with a resounding five-goal to nil victory over Nigerien club Niamey. This decisive win took place at Douera Stadium in Algiers during the second leg of the first preliminary round of the continental competition.
Moloudia d'Alger's commanding performance saw them score five goals without reply. The goals were netted by Seriman Konate in the 17th minute, an own goal by Lawali in the 69th minute, Mohamed Saliou Bangoura in the 76th minute, Chaher Eddine Boukhalda in the 78th minute, and Ndomumoy Moussa in the 83rd minute. This strong showing followed a goalless draw (0-0) in the first leg, which was played in Niamey.
The Algerian club is now set to face Rangers International from Nigeria in the upcoming round. This qualification highlights Moloudia d'Alger's positive trajectory and strong dynamic within the African Champions League, marking a significant achievement for the club on the continental stage.
