DZWatch Exclusive: The Ministry of National Education has announced the registration dates for the 2026 sessions of the Brevet d’Enseignement Moyen (BEM) and Baccalauréat (BAC) examinations.
Registration will commence tomorrow, Tuesday, November 18, 2025, and will continue until Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at midnight. This window provides ample time for eligible students to complete the necessary steps.
According to the Ministry, the registration process is entirely electronic. Candidates are required to fill out the online registration form available through the Ministry’s information system and the websites of the National Office for Examinations and Competitions (ONEC). No physical documents are required.
For students enrolled in educational institutions, registration will be conducted through the digital platform of the Ministry of National Education’s information system. School principals will be responsible for registering their students for both examinations.
Independent candidates, however, must complete the electronic form available on the ONEC websites. Separate platforms are available for the BEM and BAC exams.
Each candidate will have a personal account created for them. This account will be used for various purposes, including paying registration fees, reviewing personal data, downloading examination summons, and accessing results.
Enrolled students will have their accounts (username and password) generated by the school’s information system. Parents can obtain this information through the parents’ portal or from the school administration. Independent candidates are responsible for creating their own accounts through the ONEC websites.
Registration fees must be paid electronically using the Algérie Poste “Golden” card. Candidates will use their personal account credentials (username and password) to access the payment portal. A specific payment website has been set up for enrolled students, while independent candidates will use the BAC or BEM ONEC website depending on the exam they are registering for.
