Algiers, Algeria – The National Maritime Passenger Transport Company has announced alterations to its ferry schedule for the upcoming weekend. These changes are due to anticipated adverse weather conditions that could significantly impede maritime operations.
Specifically, the Oran to Alicante route, originally scheduled for November 20, 2025, aboard the El Djazair II ferry, has been moved forward to November 19th at 18:00. The return journey from Alicante to Oran, initially planned for November 21, 2025, is now scheduled for November 20th at 18:00, utilizing the same vessel.
Significant adjustments have also been made to the Marseille – Skikda route. The departure from Marseille, initially set for November 20th on the Tassili II, has been postponed to November 24th at 12:00. The corresponding return trip from Skikda to Marseille, originally slated for November 21st, is now scheduled for November 25th at 15:00.
Furthermore, the Marseille to Algiers voyage initially planned for November 19th aboard the El Djazair II ferry has been rescheduled to November 22nd at 16:00. This revised journey will now be undertaken by the Badji Mokhtar III. The Algiers to Marseille route, previously scheduled for November 20th, has been pushed back to November 24th at 12:00, and will be operated by the same vessel, Badji Mokhtar III.
The National Maritime Passenger Transport Company has issued an apology for any inconvenience these unavoidable schedule modifications may cause.
