Trump Pushes Gaza Talks as Saudi Crown Prince Affirms Two-State Solution

Washington, D.C. – U.S. President Donald Trump has affirmed his administration’s commitment to facilitating a resolution that enables peaceful coexistence between Palestinians and Israelis. During a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the White House yesterday, President Trump stated that Washington is coordinating extensively with various parties to address the aspirations of both sides.

This visit marks the first time in seven years that Prince Mohammed bin Salman has visited Washington. During the meeting, President Trump noted that the Palestinians are “doing well,” and emphasized that the United States is collaborating with a “large number of partners” to reach mutually acceptable understandings for both Israelis and Palestinians. He added that his administration is making every effort to find a common ground that safeguards the interests of both parties.

Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Two-State Solution

For his part, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the importance of establishing a “clear path” leading to a two-state solution. He confirmed that he discussed this matter “constructively” with President Trump, aiming to create the necessary conditions for tangible progress as soon as possible.

The Crown Prince further announced plans to increase Saudi investments in the United States to approximately one trillion dollars.
