Algeria Opens Registration for 2026 BEAM and Baccalaureate Exams

Algiers – The Ministry of National Education has announced the commencement of registration for the 2026 Brevet d’Enseignement Moyen (BEAM) and Baccalaureate examinations. According to an official communication addressed to educational directorates and school administrators, the registration period will run from Tuesday, November 18, 2025, until midnight on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

This initiative is part of the ongoing effort to implement the sector’s digital transformation strategy, enhance administrative services, and streamline registration procedures through the dedicated online platform for school exams. The ministry emphasizes the importance of ensuring data accuracy and minimizing errors.

The registration process for both the BEAM and Baccalaureate exams in 2026 will be exclusively digital. School principals are responsible for creating digital accounts for students via the Ministry of Education’s official platform. It is mandatory to carefully review and verify each candidate’s personal information before approval.

The information system will generate a unique account for each candidate, allowing them to track their registration status, pay registration fees, download convocations, and access results. This can be done through the parents’ portal or the National Office for Examinations and Competitions websites.

Eligibility Requirements:

BEAM Examination: Students progressing to the fourth year of middle school are eligible to participate. Additionally, independent candidates or those enrolled in distance learning programs may participate, provided they submit the required documents.

Baccalaureate Examination: Students in their third year of secondary school, across all academic streams, are eligible. Independent candidates and those enrolled in distance learning are also eligible, subject to providing proof of level or required certificates.

The Ministry has underscored the need for meticulous data entry to prevent errors that could potentially disrupt the registration process. The responsibility for any data inaccuracies lies with the candidate or the educational institution. This step represents a continuation of the Ministry of Education’s efforts to digitize services and enhance efficiency within the education sector.
