A Palestinian civilian was killed by Israeli fire in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, early Friday morning, according to Palestinian medical sources. The individual, a displaced person, was reportedly struck by a bullet fired by Israeli forces in the Al-Tena area, south of the city, and was pronounced dead upon arrival at Nasser Medical Complex.
Concurrently, the Israeli military conducted a series of airstrikes and carried out demolitions in areas beyond what has become known as the ‘Yellow Line’ within the Gaza Strip. These operations included artillery shelling and heavy gunfire.
In Rafah, located in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip, new airstrikes targeted various areas within the city. In Khan Yunis, reports indicate that Israeli forces launched intense airstrikes east of the ‘Yellow Line’, accompanied by artillery fire and heavy gunfire from Israeli tanks.
Central Gaza also experienced shelling, with Israeli artillery targeting the eastern parts of the Bureij and Maghazi refugee camps. Israeli military vehicles also reportedly fired towards the camps.
In Gaza City, a reported “massive demolition operation” was carried out by the Israeli military east of the ‘Yellow Line’.
These actions have occurred despite the ceasefire agreement implemented on October 10th. Since then, the Israeli military has continued to demolish remaining structures beyond the ‘Yellow Line’.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported yesterday that hospitals received 33 fatalities in the past 24 hours, including 12 children and 8 women, alongside 88 injuries.
