President Tebboune Launches Construction of 8,050 AADL 3 Housing Units

Constantine, Algeria – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune today laid the foundation stone for a major housing project in Constantine, signaling a significant step in the government’s commitment to providing affordable housing for its citizens. The project, comprising 8,050 units under the AADL 3 (location-sale) program, is located in the new urban hub of Sissaoui.

The launch ceremony underscores the government’s focus on addressing housing needs and improving living standards across the country. The AADL (National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development) program is a key initiative designed to provide subsidized housing to eligible Algerians through a rent-to-own scheme.

During the visit, President Tebboune also reviewed a report detailing the modernization plan for Constantine’s historic old city, along with ongoing development projects in the region. A presentation on the local housing sector and its digitization process was also presented to the President.

The President’s visit to Constantine highlights the government’s commitment to regional development and the importance of housing as a key pillar of its social policy. The AADL 3 project is expected to significantly alleviate housing pressures in the Constantine area and contribute to the overall economic growth of the region.

President Tebboune arrived in Constantine earlier today for a working and inspection visit, during which he is scheduled to inaugurate and inspect several other development and vital projects.
