ORAN – A significant operation by law enforcement has led to the arrest of seven individuals in Oran, following the dismantling of two organized criminal networks. The operation, conducted by the Regional Service for Combating Organized Crime (SRLCO), resulted in the seizure of a substantial quantity of narcotics.
According to a statement released by the National Security services, authorities confiscated 1 kilogram and 431 grams of cocaine during the raids. In addition to the cocaine, a large quantity of psychotropic substances was also seized, totaling 29,389 capsules. Authorities further uncovered 6,168 tablets of hard drugs, the type of which has not yet been specified.
The operation also resulted in the recovery of a significant sum of money, the exact amount of which is still being tallied. Furthermore, four vehicles believed to have been used in the criminal activities were confiscated by the authorities.
