North Africa: Presentation of a Study on Agricultural Market Forecasts in Bari

“Agriculture in North Africa: Characteristics, Potential, and Technological Needs” is the title of a conference scheduled to take place at Agrilevante, the trade fair organized by the Italian Federation of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers (FederUnacoma) in Bari from October 5th to 8th.

During the conference, in collaboration with Internationalia and Ciheam Bari, a study produced by Africa and Business will be presented, focusing on the prospects of North African markets.

The event, which will also be available for streaming, will feature speeches from Mariateresa Maschio, President of FederUnacoma, Gianfranco Belgrano, Editorial Director of Internationalia, the publishing house of Africa and Business, Davide Gnesini, Technical Service Manager at FederUnacoma, Mara Semeraro, Official from Ciheam Bari, and a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

The study conducted by Africa and Business examines the potential of five countries: Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco. It also sheds light on Sub-Saharan Africa, highlighting ongoing trends that will impact agricultural demand and the necessity to accelerate the mechanization and modernization of agriculture
