The Minister of Communication, Zohir Bouamama, is participating in the African Broadcasting Forum being held in Dakar, Senegal, starting today, Tuesday. The two-day forum is themed: “Broadcasting as a Supporter of Sovereignty and Economic and Social Integration in Africa.”

The forum serves as a platform for consultation and the exchange of experiences regarding the challenges facing radio and television broadcasting. Key issues on the agenda include digital transformation, strengthening media sovereignty, modernizing infrastructure, and fostering cooperation between African countries in the field of media.
This year’s event is particularly focused on strategies to enhance African control over its media landscape.
