Bejaia, Algeria – Nearly 1,000 families across Algeria have benefited from the ‘Productive Family’ program, announced the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, Mrs. Souriya Mouloudji, today in Bejaia.
The program, overseen by the Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, aims to support and empower families by providing them with the resources and training necessary to establish and manage small businesses. This initiative focuses on promoting self-sufficiency and economic independence within Algerian households.
Minister Mouloudji highlighted the significant impact of the program, stating that it has played a crucial role in improving the livelihoods of participating families and contributing to the overall economic development of the country. “The ‘Productive Family’ program is a cornerstone of our efforts to strengthen families and empower them to become active participants in the national economy,” she stated.

It targets families with limited resources and those seeking to improve their economic standing through entrepreneurial activities. The initiative covers a wide range of sectors, including handicrafts, agriculture, food processing, and services.
The Ministry is committed to expanding the reach of the ‘Productive Family’ program in the coming years, with plans to increase the number of beneficiaries and further diversify the support services offered.
