MASCARA – A national symposium focusing on “The State and Ethics in Emir Abdelkader’s Vision” commenced today in Mascara, under the patronage of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune. The event coincides with the 193rd anniversary of the first allegiance paid to Emir Abdelkader.
The Minister of Veterans Affairs and Rights Holders, Abdelmalek Tacherif, inaugurated the symposium, emphasizing the enduring relevance of Emir Abdelkader’s principles in contemporary Algerian society. The symposium serves as a platform for scholars, researchers, and historians to delve into the intellectual and ethical framework that guided Emir Abdelkader’s leadership and his vision for a modern state.
