Algeria to Participate in Fruit Attraction 2026 in Madrid

Algeria will take part in the international Fruit Attraction 2026 trade fair, scheduled to be held from October 6 to 8 at the IFEMA Madrid exhibition center in the Spanish capital, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion announced on Wednesday.

According to a ministry statement, the event is one of the world’s leading international gatherings dedicated to the fruit and vegetable sector, bringing together producers, exporters, importers, distributors and logistics service providers from different countries.

The exhibition is expected to provide participating companies with opportunities to develop trade exchanges, expand export prospects and establish new business partnerships, while also keeping pace with the latest innovations and market trends shaping the sector.

The program includes several specialized areas, notably the Innovation Hub, which will showcase innovative products and solutions and host innovation awards.

Other exhibition spaces will be dedicated to fresh produce, related industries and services, logistics, and the Innova & Tech area, which focuses on modern technologies, smart agriculture and digital solutions for the agri-food sector.

The event will also feature technical conferences, scientific seminars, professional forums and cooking demonstrations involving international experts.

Participants will also have access to the LiveConnect platform, designed to facilitate both direct and digital professional networking, help companies explore new markets and expand their international business contacts.

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion has invited Algerian economic operators active in the production and export of fruits and vegetables to register within the required deadlines in order to participate in the event.

The ministry stressed that Fruit Attraction 2026 represents an important opportunity to promote Algerian agricultural products, strengthen their visibility abroad and support efforts to expand Algeria’s presence in international markets.

The participation also reflects Algeria’s broader strategy to diversify non-hydrocarbon exports and create new opportunities for national producers and exporters in competitive global markets.
