Arab Copyright Chiefs Convene in Algiers for Regional Meeting

Algiers, November 26, 2025 – The regional meeting of heads of copyright offices in the Arab region commenced today in Algiers. The Minister of Culture and Arts, Malika Ben Douda, inaugurated the proceedings, emphasizing the importance of fostering collaboration and addressing the evolving challenges in the field of intellectual property.

The meeting, organized by the National Copyright and Neighboring Rights Office (ONDA) in coordination with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), aims to harmonize perspectives and lay a foundation for strengthening intellectual property systems across Arab nations.
