DZWatch has learned that the national meteorological services are predicting thunderstorms for several provinces across Algeria tomorrow, Sunday. The weather is expected to be particularly unsettled in the western and northern regions, as well as in the far south of the country.
According to weather forecasts, northern areas will experience partly cloudy conditions, with thunderstorms developing in the western provinces during the afternoon. The provinces most likely to be affected by these storms include: Oran, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, El Bayadh, Naama, Bechar, and Beni Abbes.
Temperatures in the coastal regions are forecast to range between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius, while inland areas can expect temperatures between 13 and 19 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds are anticipated to reach up to 30 kilometers per hour.
In the southern regions, mostly sunny conditions are expected, however, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in the extreme south during the afternoon, particularly in the provinces of Illizi and Tamanrasset. Temperatures in the south will range from 16 to 32 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds potentially reaching 40 kilometers per hour.
