Algeria Strengthens Police Cooperation with China

Algiers – The Director General of National Security, Mr. Ali Badaoui, received a high-level delegation from the People’s Republic of China’s police force today at the Directorate General of National Security headquarters. The meeting, held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, underscores the ongoing efforts to bolster police cooperation between Algeria and China.

The Chinese delegation was led by Mr. Yong Biao, Deputy Director of Public Security for Hubei Province. Discussions focused on exploring avenues for enhanced collaboration in various areas of law enforcement, including combating transnational crime, sharing expertise, and implementing joint training programs.

Mr. Badaoui emphasized Algeria’s commitment to strengthening its security partnerships with international allies, particularly in the face of evolving global security challenges.
